Weather: cold snowstorm.

Men mostly didn’t sleep. In the morning a cold storm brings snow from the mountains. After the battles of the last days and the horrific slaughter during the siege most of them are close to breaking. The snow and the cold are too much for them. It seems like God has left us.

Face desolation 1 3 8. +2 heart. Miss. The spirit of our men breaks. Some lay down waiting for their death, others wander into the woods or the hills. Others again march back to Middar into certain death at the hands of the Turks.

Von Eisenhut moves on alone. In the distance he sees a gold mine. Further north along the road lies the town of Feketz. As a booming frontier city it is ruled directly by one of the emperors close confidants. A hongarian Noble called Etehlo von Feketz.

Von Eisenhut tries to compel the guards to let him talk directly to Etehlo, threatening them by telling them that the Turks will get them if he isn’t allowed to talk to him. Compel 3 5 6. +3 iron. Weak hit. They demand to be paid. -1 supply.

In a rousing speech von Eisenhut tries to convince Etehlo of the danger. Compel 1 9 9 +2💓. Miss. He refuses to believe him. The discussion is tiring and after all the exertion of the last days von Eisenhut finally breaks and goes insane. Health, Spirit, supply are now all at 0 …
